Overview

WealthExact (wealthexact.com) is committed to being transparent about how the site works and what data it collects. The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser, and the site uses two analytics layers — Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless) and Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party analytics cookies under a consent banner where required by law.

What we collect

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the site is used and how it performs. Both are privacy-focused and cookieless: visitors are counted using an anonymized hash derived from the incoming request, not a tracking cookie, and the recorded data is aggregated and anonymous — not tied to your identity or a specific IP address. The data points include the page URL and path, referrer, approximate geolocation (country/region/city level), device type, operating system, browser, and anonymous performance metrics (load times / Core Web Vitals).

Google Analytics 4

We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure site traffic and usage. GA4 is served by Google and sets first-party analytics cookies — including _ga and _gid — on your device. These cookies allow Google to count visits, sessions, and page views, and to report aggregated statistics about how the site is used. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected via GA4, but cookie-based analytics do link browsing activity to a browser identifier over time. GA4 data is processed under Google's privacy terms.

What WealthExact stores

WealthExact is stateless. The calculators run entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter are never stored, sent to us, or saved between visits. There are no accounts and no database of user inputs.

Cookies

The site sets analytics cookies via Google Analytics 4. These are first-party cookies (including _ga and _gid) classified as analytics/performance cookies. No strictly necessary cookies are set by WealthExact itself, and no advertising cookies are currently set. Non-essential analytics cookies are only set after consent where required by law — see “Consent and your choices” below.

Consent and your choices

WealthExact uses a first-party consent banner wired to Google Consent Mode v2. The banner is shown to all first-time visitors. For visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are denied by default and are set only after you click Accept. For visitors elsewhere, analytics is on by default — but you can click “Reject non-essential” at any time to opt out.

If you decline or opt out, Vercel analytics (cookieless) continues to run and GA4 operates in a restricted, cookieless mode — no _ga or _gid cookies are set.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that occurred before withdrawal.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland visitors

For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the legal basis for analytics cookies is your consent under the EU GDPR (Article 6(1)(a)) and the UK GDPR. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time using the cookie preferences control described above. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights do not rely on consent because they are cookieless and collect no personal identifiers.

Planned advertising

WealthExact is building toward advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising is not yet active — no advertising cookies are currently set and no ads are served. When advertising is introduced, Google's certified “Privacy & messaging” consent tool (available in the AdSense dashboard) will replace the current consent banner and will manage consent for advertising cookies in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland; this policy will be updated to disclose the specific cookies, their purposes, and your rights before any ad cookies are set.

WealthExact may link to external sources for citations or reference. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
